Approach

  1. Hike Phelps Creek Trail up past Spider Meadow.
  2. Turn left at the junction and go up to Spider Gap.
  3. Descend the other side to reach the Lyman Lakes Basin.
  4. Take Cloudy Pass Trail by Lyman Lake Camp to reach the pass.
  5. From the pass, go east to round Cloudy Peak's south buttress.
  6. Head north to reach the summit.
