Mount Rainier Area > SE - Cayuse Pass/Stevens Canyon

We got a little confused getting to the trailhead - it was further than we thought but down a curvy road and the parking lot is super obvious- Didn’t go far enough. The trail is beautiful - we chose to go clockwise- and am glad we did. It starts on uphill climb- not bad .... then is pretty flat. It was nice to get the majority out of the elevation out of the way- go through the woods- then wow Mt Rainier makes an appearance- did not disappoint. Could also see Mt Adams today because it’s clear. You do cross the highway at the beginning and end - which we didn’t get by looking at the map. I’ve been gone for a bit so it was a good get back to hiking - a little elevation and a gorgeous pay out. Highly recommend for all ability levels
