Directions to trailhead are easy.
Due to time we weren’t able to make it to the very top. However there was plenty of good spots along the way to get a good view of town.
There is a paved parking lot, bathroom, and picnic bench at the trailhead. There are several trails to choose to go on. You could go here several times and do a different trail each time. I saw many families with kids on the trail. Looks like horses use the trails too. It also appears that many dogs use the trails since there was dog crap all along the way.
There is no shade along the way. Bring water.
