I left with a group of five from the trail head at 8:30 and managed to be in the basin by around 11. The trail is easy to find, although the trail does involve what feels like bouldering the higher up one goes. There were a couple blown-down trees that were a little tricky to navigate. Water sources are plentiful on the trail and none of the creek crossings are difficult (unless your shoes have no tread in wet conditions). It can also be difficult to find a good pee spot given the steep slopes.
The weather was perfect. We scrambled up the ridge above Foggy Lake and could see Mount Baker, Mount Rainier and the Olympics at the same time. Overall this trail is difficult but well-maintained and absolutely stunning.
