What a beautiful day for a hike at Mount Catherine! My friend and I did a morning hike here, and saw five or so other hikers throughout the hike. We had the top to ourselves for over an hour. This may be a short hike, but it has some good elevation gain in 1.5 miles! The cable part isn’t as scary as it sounds. The views on a sunny day are awesome! This was the first time I’ve noticed you could see Mount Stuart from the top!
There’s no snow there now. Remember that the road is rough, so park before the rough spot and walk up the road if your car doesn’t have high clearance.
