First off, the lower gate was not open on a Saturday, so there are only three official parking spots at the lower gate, and a few others along the road. We were looking for the old car and the safe on the Bonnie and Clyde trail, and ended up going Up Only to the upper parking area, the Ridge trail almost back to the road and finally Bonnie and Clyde to the car. The main trails are mostly well marked, but a lot of the crossovers are unmarked and we missed a few shortcuts because of this. Trail conditions were mostly excellent, though it was a bit hard to find the trail in places on Up only.
Overall this is an excellent trail system, but it's much harder to use when the gates aren't open.
