North Cascades > Mount Baker Area

There was some icy patches on the trail — last of last season or first of this season? Don’t know. The views are breathtaking, so you need to stop every once in a while to take in Mt Baker or Shuksan or the others in the distance. While walking keep your eyes on the trail because it is a bit steep and the rocks are loose. I had read that this trail can be tough for those with fear of heights—me. But I was fine. Loved the hike. What a special day.
