Forest road up to the trailhead is very bumpy with deep potholes. I have a 4Runner and had no issues but lower clearance vehicles would have had issues/scraping.
Trail was in fantastic condition. A lot of switchbacks early due to the steepness but nothing too strenuous since the peak is only 1.5 miles up. Saw a few other hikers on the way up and down but not busy at all. Got to the top and had some fantastic views of Mt. Rainier and a full 360 degree panoramic view of the landscape. Peak requires a short scramble and the top does not have too much room.
Covered ~3miles round trip and 1275 feet of gain. Took 2 hours total with about 30 minutes of enjoying the view at the top. Great first hike for our 16 month old trail doggo.
