When you first get there you’ll have to walk a little to get to the trailhead due to the gate being closed for the winter. Although this hike is just 2 miles, you are gaining quickly. So it is a continuous incline so get ready for your legs to possibly feel like noodles haha The trails were very well maintained. I saw a good amount of people while I was coming up and going down. It took me about an hour and a half to reach the top and that’s including multiple times stopping along the way. I did hit up both viewpoints. The trail leads you to the north viewpoint but if you follow the road at the top it will lead you to the south.

It switched my photo order
The first picture is at the south viewpoint and the second is at the north

Hi, do you have a record of how many miles you hiked total? I'm wondering how extra long the gate closure will add

I don’t have record of the miles in total I did. But it felt like it was less than half a mile from the gate to the trail head.
