A beautiful day for this hike. Starting at the trailhead it was wet and muddy. Consistently climbing up through out the route you run into snow about half way up. Prepare for a mile or two in snow 5 inches deep to the radio tower and beyond. Beautiful views of Rainier and all the way to the Olympics.
