Nice day for a walk on the boardwalk, bald eagles everywhere, heron, a variety of ducks. despite the parking lot being full oh, there was still parking found and the boardwalk is not crowded at all.. everything look good, trails are open despite the government shutdown. The education center / gift shop is not open.
