Trip Report

Sequalitchew Creek — Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
The beach

After the fog burned off, we made our way to Dupont to try out the Sequalitchew Creek trail.  We were not disappointed.

It was surprisingly pretty as we walked down a gully with the creek at the bottom surrounded by plenty of old trees and ferns.  Once we got to the end of the trail, we were pleased to see a quite lovely beach, even at high tide.

We tarried a while to look at the islands across the sound: Anderson, McNeil, and Ketron, and then turned around to return, quite content with our little outing and new discovery.
