Early morning hike with the pup. Got to the trailhead around 8am. Road is clear leading up to trail head but need to park on the side of road which was fine and abundant early in the morning. Snow is packed down making for an easy snowy hike. Walked around in boots but passed some snowshoers- you can do both. Flat trail with gorgeous views of the lake.
