This hike was a backup for a different hike we wanted to do in the area but due to snow limiting passage on all the fire roads. Very easy going flat trail, mostly snow covered but didnt need microspikes or anything. Go past the broken bridge for great views where the trail "ends" at the river crossing. Only saw one other party of hikers with small kids on the trail. Not exactly the training hike we were going for but a really nice scenic flat walk.
