Willapa Hills Trail — Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019

Southwest Washington > Lewis River Region

We parked the car at Cerres Hill and then we drove on to Pe Ell and started on our journey Eastward from there. There was no need for a Discovery Pass since we parked on the city street. The trail improved as we went Eastward and even though it was February there was some traffic but not a lot. We enjoyed the trail a lot and you could see that Washington state parks has invested a lot of money in bridges and Trail maintenance. It was a pleasant day. We'll be checking out the rest of this Trail as it is completed.  From what I could see from the car as I drove along the rest of the trail to the west from Pe Ell there was little or no maintenance the closer I got to Raymond.
