Just wanted to say thank you to all the people who offered me help this Sunday. I sprained my ankle on the way down about 2 miles from the parking lot. Luckily I always carry a 1st aid kit with me and was able to get it wrapped up. So many fellow hiker inquired about my injury, wanted to make sure I was OK, and offered to help me to my car and 1st aid. I really appreciate the kindness everyone showed me on my hike. Thank you all!
Beware coming into and leaving the parking lot. There are some HUGE pot holes. There was a small patch of ice and snow towards the top just past the turn for the old Si trail melting fast and easy to maneuver over or around. Otherwise an absolutely beautiful day and great hike.
