Looking for a 16 mile rt, to stretch out. Stated w a bit of mist but cleared quickly. Only people in lot and on trail. B rooms closed. Except for toilet overlooking hw 2.. About 4.5 miles out.. Trail dry till 5 miles out then deep snow.. 2 ft deep postholes, with some bridge cossings covered and people in last couple of days postholed 4 ft and fell sideways. Based upon the snow imprints. Saw some cougar tracks outside a tunnel but were iced over so couple days old. Trail in great condition till snow, we turned back at 5.1 miles out, before the long covered walkway. Tree leaves have that light green cast pre popping.
