Trip Report

Cape Flattery — Sunday, Apr. 21, 2019

Olympic Peninsula > Pacific Coast

Some of THE best scenery we have seen in WA on a sunny day, and very accessible trail. Mostly boardwalk with some stairs (though somewhat narrow, and there are some gaps in the boards that small doggy paws might not like).

Trail parking is limited (~20cars or so). We got there around noon, and took the last spot in the lot, but there is more room on the road. Don't forget to purchase the $10 Makah Trail access pass at the Makah tribal museum before you head out (its required)! The museum is also very cool, $6 adult pass but some great history there.

It's great to see this place on a sunny day. You hit it just right. The colors of the water are gorgeous.
