Plan to do this hike on a clear day or arrive early enough to get above the clouds. If you must wait, know that the views from the top are well worth it. Make sure to bring waterproof boots as you will be walking through running water (not to mention snow) and must cross multiple streams. No major obstacles other than streams and a couple of small, downed trees. The trail is all snow toward the top but very well-packed. Micro-spikes and poles are recommended.
This is my second time to the top. The first time, it was very cloudy and I couldn't see anything. I really had no idea how beautiful this hike really is until I went back up today.
