Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal

Straight forward day hike.  There was an inch of hard snow on top basically located right on the summit.  Trails were clear and muddy in places.  Dodged weather just a bit.  Snowed maybe 15 minutes after we got down to the parking lot.  Was sticking at 3000ft ish and above on tree branches. Great first hike if you're wanting something in the 4000ft level.  I fully support the discharge of firearms on public land and in compliance with the law.  I do not, however, support the trash that gets left behind at these public ranges.  Perhaps the biggest drag about this hike is the eyesore getting to the trailhead.
