Big Gulch — Thursday, May. 2, 2019

The hike is beautiful.  The slow moving creek led to a lot of mosquitoes being out - enough that by walking along I  got smacked in the face quite a bit.  The area is close to traffic and residences which today also came with chainsaws for almost the whole hike.  What I really wasn’t anticipating was the smell about 3/4 way down, then I heard then saw the sewer vent plumbing just 2-3 feet off the trail.  Recommend bringing bug spray and headphones just in case.
