Dirty Face Lookout and Peak — Saturday, Jun. 8, 2019

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - East

I had never done this hike before and wasnt sure what to expect.  It wasnt really something I wold go back to but I did like doing it once.  One of the reasons was that it was hot and exposed to the sun and I like trees and with a view at the end.  The trail has quite a few trees down but nothing difficult to get over or around.  Its a trail in the woods so there needs to be some obstacles to make it fun and interesting.

I did like that its a good workout and grade.  My AllTrails shoes about 3900' in four miles to the top.  The view were really nice but the trail was uneventful in my opinion.  At the top there was some wind and most people had on puffy jackets as some clouds were rolling in.  Awesome views of the Spider Gap area and north. Glacier Peak was hiding itself but I imagine when its out it one of the highlights of the hike.  Overall, a great workout but now I dont have to go back.
