Ira Spring Trail - Mason Lake, Bandera Mountain — Saturday, Jun. 8, 2019

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

Got to the trailhead about 9:15am and cars were parked along the road for a very long ways. We went to the parking lot and had a vehicle leave as we pulled in. The one beside us left soon after, so certainly worth going all the way in since there seem to be cars coming and going often. Solid cloud cover all the way up, which was nice to have for the exposed trail. The lake stayed shrouded in clouds and we were surrounded by people. Started up Bandera Mountain and was shocked by just how "aggressive" the trail is. We had two leashed dogs and I would argue that the trail is not navigable like that. Great views though. Made it only a little ways up before turning around.

Rest the trail is dog friendly and most of it is wide enough to not require a lot of stopping to yield to those going up.
