Sunset on Earl Peak did not disappoint! The road to the trailhead as others have mentioned, is rough. Washboard road for quite a while and a few deep rivers. Additionally the vegetation is growing into the road and scratches my SUV a few times which didn’t bother me since my vehicle is tore up for outdoor adventures but may bother others.
The trail itself is great! Wildflowers blooming everywhere. The schree was annoying the last .3 miles up but the views were worth the minor annoyance
