Suntop Lookout — Sunday, Jun. 16, 2019

Decided to check out sunset from Suntop for Fathers Day with our three kids. What a perfect evening! The forest road is bumpy but I think anyone can make it if you take it slow. I actually think they may have filled in some of the pot holes! We opted for the short hike and drove up to the trail head. The top gate was still closed. Easy short hike to the top. Oh my gosh the bear grass is everywhere right now. So incredible. Sunset was amazing. Go now while the bear grass is blooming! Walked back down the trail with our headlamps. Perfect family sunset outing.
