Arrived at the trailhead at 7pm and saw four other cars. Only encountered three people on the trail. Mosquitos were out in full force - bug spray didn’t seem to phase them so be prepared.

Picked up trash along the way, ended up bagging 3.3 lbs of mostly dog waste bags and toilet paper/wipes. A word of warning: there are no trash cans or bathrooms at this trailhead so please plan to pack out your trash or use the restroom beforehand - it’s not that long of a trail and not that far from civilization. Also noticed a lot of social trails on the way up - WTA appears to have done work here recently and put up numerous signs about staying on the trail so please listen! At the top by the lookout we found lots of campfire pits and burned trash/broken glass - be careful when walking around the base of the lookout and if you make a campfire (not sure if they’re legal and even if they are in our drought situation I would risk it) make sure to drown it out and disperse of the pit.
