West Tiger 3 by Joe

Hiked West Tiger 3 many times over the years but never saw a bear on Tiger before today. I was hiking back and about half way down, maybe .2 miles above the Talus Rock trail junction when a bear crossed my path less that 100 feet in front of me. I stopped and realized that the bear was still nearby, just over the hill. I saw some rustling on the opposite side of the trail. I backed up a bit and grabbed my phone. Sure enough, a very small bear cub then crossed the trail also. They continued on down hill, as did I. I did manage a picture of the cub. About 2pm. Happy solstice!
