Arrived at 6 PM on a cloudy Sunday - Red Town Trailhead lot was about 1/3 full. This was my first time on this trail and I found it to be in beautiful condition - well-graded with no obstacles, perfect for trail running if that's your speed.
There were no maps at the trailhead, but you can (and probably should) download the PDF for reference - there are a couple spots on the trail where cell service is lost. I saved an offline copy of the WTA trail page and referenced the directions at multiple intersections, of which there are many (signed and otherwise).
This is a great spot to take advantage of nature so close to the city - looking forward to making my way through this entire trail system! 😻
