Mailbox Peak — Sunday, Jun. 30, 2019

uiThe road to the upper parking lot does not open till 7am. Parked at the lower lot around 620am. Trail is well maintained. not too many people this early. Be ready for a very tough last push to the top. Starts when you finally brake out of the forest into the into the exposed section, last mile or less to the top. Summit at 9:26am hung out for a bit, soaked in 5he views, poked around in the box, back to my car around 12:10. Fitbit tracked it at 9.68 miles round trip from lower lot, not sure why other reports say 10-12miles. Didnt seem like more than 10.
