Twin Falls — Sunday, Jul. 14, 2019

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
View of the falls from the benches lookout

This was a great hike with the trail in great condition, lots of people out for the day, and great views along the way to the waterfalls! Brought a family member from out of town on this trip and they were so surprised by the number of families out together hiking on this trail and they loved all of the waterfall views.

We arrived to the trailhead around 10am and the parking lot was full (as to be expected on a sunshine-filled Sunday) but only a couple of cars had begun parking along the road. Though the parking lot was full, we didn't encounter that many hikers on our way up the trail. We hiked all the way up to the bridge to take in the view of the falls with a couple of short breaks at the benches and the lower lookout point. The weather was spectacular and it was great seeing the sun break its way through the trees and onto the trail at moments.

On our way back down to the trailhead, there were a lot of of larger group making their way up to the fall viewpoints so it paid off to make sure we got to the trailhead not too late in the morning. Once we arrived back to the parking lot the line of cars parked along the road to the trailhead was almost extending halfway down the road.

Sunshine and gorgeous weather on the trail
