Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Parked at the north lot. Took Boardwalk Trail to Beaver Lake Trail. Tried Wayne's World Trail for the first time. Took the first left, looped down and back up before it met the small pond on the map. The loop around was not on the map, but it was easily the most visible trail. Next we took Ear Therapy to the very north side where it connected with Easy 8. These trails were in great condition and kept the dogs in the shade. We then connected to Red Barn Trail. Beaver Lake looked dried up from our side. We accessed Temple Pond from the northeast side, which was a great chance for dogs to drink and wade around. Tried finding South Temple Pond Loop Trail that would take us South on the east side of the lake, but no luck. We took Temple Pond Loop north, then back south on Sherwood Forest to Marsh Lake Loop to Loren's Ridge to Pipeline. Sherwood and Marsh Lake were very narrow and overgrown, but doable. Next we tried East Fishing Access, which seems to be too overgrown to get to the river. The trail further west had narrow access to the river. Just larger enough for the pups to swim a little, but the horses ahead of us did not make it. A lake in the Quarry Trail area was another good water stop for dogs.
