We camped the night before at a first come campsite 10 min east of the trailhead.
We started our hike at 7:30am on a rainy and cloudy morning and decided to go counterclockwise (Lake Ann Trail Head). The incline wasn’t bad at all and the views of Lake Ann were rewarding. The trail is in great condition and the flowers and views are so beautiful. I just wish less people would wander off the main path - the poor Heathers are really impacted.
We made it back to the parking lot in less than 4 hours, by which it was already super crowded.
