We got to Bowman Bay about a half an hour before the minus tide was at its lowest point. We walked on the beach straight to Reservation Head, well, not really straight because we counted five bunnies on the trail, four great blue herons, a couple sea otters and checked out the tide pools, so it was a bit of zig-zagging. Lottie Bay was pretty well emptied out and the high tide water marks on the cliffs of the headland were about ten feet above the water line.
