Great day for an after work hike. Got the parking lot at 4 pm and there were still a few spots available. Trail has plenty of loose rock for the first mile or so, then it was pretty smooth. Nice view of Rainier just short of the top. There was about 8 paragliders flying at the summit and a group of 10 more arrived just as I was leaving. Took about 2hrs 15 mins with 30mins spent at the top watching the paragilders do their thing. Everyone on the trail was super friendly.
