Snow Lake — Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

We arrived at the parking lot for this hike at about 8:45 am and it was already pretty crowded. For the first mile, the trail was great. As we got further in, there were many more rocks and scree so we really had to watch our footing. The trail was busy, but not overly crowded. At about 2.75 miles in, we reached the top and saw beautiful views of the lake and wilderness below. We headed straight down to the lake to cool off. As we headed down, we were treated to gorgeous views of the lake! It took us a total of 2 hours and 12 minutes (3.56 miles) to reach the lake.

We spent quite a bit of time at the lake, enjoyed swimming and picnicking. The lake was stunningly beautiful! There were quite a few flies and other bugs which were an annoyance, so don't forget the bug spray!

The trail was much busier going both ways as we headed back, but everyone was kind and passing was a breeze. It took us 2 hours and 5 minutes to get back to the car. We were wiped out from the length of the hike.

We were a group of three adults, but saw a lot of kids on the trail. It seemed like a long way for little legs (and for mine too!), but the trail was not too challenging. I would come back and do this again!
