Arrived Paradise at 11:30 am. Thankfully, the weekday made it easy to find a parking spot despite the crowds. Ate lunch at the Inn then started the hike around 2 pm as we were hoping to miss the intensity of midday sun. Absolutely spectacular weather day with stunning views of the mountain! The meadows are in full bloom! Saw a few marmots which was a thrill for the kids. Everyone did well on the hike - five in our party were from the Midwest and are not used to hiking elevation, but they did great! Sun protection is a must along with plenty of water. Finished the trail at 5 pm and rewarded ourselves with a refreshing bevy from the Inn’s cafe. Phenomenal day!
