Dewey Lake — Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019

Trail was in great condition....Lake Dewey was beautiful...We were there midweek and the trail was still really busy from the trailhead along the mile and a half of upper trail...Even so, views are stunning and the wildflowers are incredible!! Once we descended the additional mile and a half we were pretty much alone...Mosquitoes were out in force at the lake so some bug spray is definitely recommended...Took our little dog with us and had to carry them up the hill because the rocks on the trail were a little jagged and they were a little rough on their paws...The rest of the trail is pretty much dirt though which they absolutely loved!  Overall, one of the nicest hikes we've been on in a while!
