Park Butte — Monday, Sep. 5, 2011

This was a notable hike for me as it was the first trail I had done outside of childhood hiking with my father. This is a Baker classic with in-your-face views of Kulshan from the fire outlook. This was also the day I took a photo that is still my favorite to this day: “lone tree.” I do remember that at times there can be difficulty crossing the river when the bridge is not in place.
