Did a day hike with a group of friends of various skill levels. I brought up the rear, and was glad to see lots of wide spots for breaks. The trail has many different surfaces: crushed gravel berms, boardwalks, compact dirt, rock flows, etc. I had forgot my hiking shoes, but was able to complete the hike in tennis shoes - just had to take it slow over the rocky parts. Waterfall was at the top of a long stretch of stairs, but it was absolutely worth it. We had a snack at the falls and took an opportunity to soak our feet in the cold water before heading back to our campsite.
