Nice quick hike up to the top of White Mountain. Road is in perfect condition all the way to the trailhead, and the trail itself is totally clear. Saw a coyote on the way up and a bull moose on the way back down. My favorite part of this trail is the beautiful larch trees that survived the fire back in 1988. Another month or so and they'll be gold with a hint of snow in the air. Hiked with my dog and 9 year old son. Another great hike on the Colville National Forest!
