Snoqualmie Region
some found summit trash

Went for a quick after work jaunt with a co-worker, arriving around 5ish to a fairly empty lot. We both booked it up to the top and then took a leisurely stroll down, whilst picking up trash.

All in all, we gathered about 20 pounds of trash. SO MANY single use water bottles off the side of the trail, as well as cans, fruit stickers and other micro-trash, and food wrappers. We were asked if we worked there a few times, to which we kindly had to respond, no we are simply trying to help out and set an example for others as to why to not simply chuck your used items after use because there aren't people that get paid to do this.

All in all, a great use of a summer evening. We made in up the trail quickly, enjoyed some "dinner" and then picked up trash and got down all before 8. The gates currently close at 8:30pm

pretty lake
nice lighting on trail
final haul

Thank you for picking up other people’s trash. I do the same thing on occasion.
