We left Climbers Bivouac at 3:30am to watch the sunrise on the rim. The trail was in excellent condition and the snow was not an issue. I packed my micro spikes, but decided it was not worth putting them on for a small section of the upper trail. The last mile to the top after the boulder field was relatively easy to climb considering the ground was frozen.
There was no wind on the rim and we were able to spend a good 90 minutes up top. Road to Climbers Bivouac was clear of snow and the only snow we ran into in the trees was what the canopy covered. Excellent climb and breathtaking views !
