Iron Peak — Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019

So happy to have squeezed in this late-season hike.  End of October and only patchy snow to the summit.  No need for snowshoes or even yaktrax. Top yielded spectacular views of Mt Stuart. Bitterly cold wind on the summit had us booking all the way back to the car wearing mitts and goretex.  Road was in really good shape with just a few big potholes at the bridges.
