Iverson Spit — Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019

Nice day for a stroll. We took the dog to start exploring Camano Island and decided on this route first. My partner and I agreed this is definitely a walk we will do often - great views (thought not a clear view of the mountains today - a little hazy). The tide was out so we rambled along the dike and the beach. The trail is in good condition. Steps to the dike, but fairly accessible for those who cannot walk far - short and flat except for the stairs up. Getting to the beach, however, includes navigating a lot of very large logs. We explored this a little. Heard a loon (Common Loon, I think) but could not get a good picture.
