Summit Lake is one of my favorite hikes! This was my 6th time up to Summit Lake since I moved to Seattle 3 years ago. It never gets old! As long as you have a high clearance vehicle you will make it no problem. I’ve seen plenty of cars make it up too, but I cringe every time. The road is ROUGH.
The hike is fairly easy. The last bit up to the lookout is strenuous but so worth it! I don’t recommend just stopping at the lake, as the best view is from the lookout/cliff.
