Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

We had a lovely day up at Mount Catherine today.

Road was it's usual-- rough, and then extra rough during the turn about a mile from the trailhead (we saw cars parking there and folks walking up the last mile when we hikes Silver Peak a few weeks ago). 1 other car at the trailhead about 11am. We passed those folks on our way up. We were hiking with 2 seven-year olds, and 2 four-year olds. One tiny patch of snow just before the summit. Kids were thrilled. We spotted 4 year olds on the cable scramble, but they had no issues. Was a little steep at the top for them (held their hands up there for sure!). A few groups came up to the top while we were having our lunch. Most with dogs.  Great hike out. 1-2 very small muddy patches, but nothing major (fine for the kids to walk through without issue or getting wet/super muddy). Lots of fun-- a great trail and beautiful day.

Someone installed hand lines to get up that last part? Interesting.
