I made this into a long loop hike by going from Narada Falls up to Reflection Lakes. Then took the Lakes Trail up to Skyline, then down to Paradise and finally back down to Narada. It was about an 8 mile RT hike and absolutely gorgeous on a mid-November day. There was some compacted snow along the way but nothing terrible. Because I am nursing a bad knee I used microspikes once I got higher up on the Lakes Trail to avoid any mishaps with the knee. You could do this hike without as long as you take it slow.
The Stevens Canyon road is closed so it was so quiet and peaceful at the Lakes. Only saw 4 other hikers all day. Also saw a couple of Pika hiding among the rocks.
Being able to hike at Mt. Rainier in mid-November on a gorgeous day - it just doesn't get much better than this!
