Thorpe mountain was interesting today. Didn’t see a car or a person.
Entire trail was snow covered and extremely faint. Thought this was a good time to post about being aware that your boot path can easily be lost and/or covered up. This happened to us as we were on our decent in the snow.
Parked at Thorpe creek trail head and it seemed like a rarely used trailhead.

Laid eyes on the lookout and turned around. Whipping wind and snow and no views 100 feet from the top.
And I believe these were a couple hour old smaller cougar tracks?
