This trail is amazing. The drive to the trailhead is incredible and the trail itself is lovely. Very well maintained and great signage. We only did half the trail, just up to a nice overlook of the lake and mountain. Can't wait to go back and do the full trail.
I would rate this on the high side of easy - there are a few steep sections and some areas of the trail that have a lot of rocks to pick over so you have to watch your footing, but overall very doable for most people.
