There is a lot of snow! Per the report from 6/23, I used microspikes when the snow started after about the second switchback. Continued up past the Lake Ann Traihead where I ran into one of the plows trying to clear the road. She let me pass, but asked/warned that the larger plow ahead was dumping snow down the final switchback ascent so it would not be possible to go up via the road. I didn't want to kickstep up the snowshoe route so didn't see Baker, but Shuksan was really showing off, and that's the mountain I came to see anyway.
Lots of visitors arriving thinking they could drive/walk up to the Point, and no signage visible from the road to warn them off.
